Planetary Joint Modules

What Is a Planetary Joint Module?

A planetary joint module integrates a brushless torque motor, planetary reducer, multi-turn absolute encoder and servo driver into a single compact unit. Unlike harmonic joints, planetary joints use a sun-planet-ring gear mechanism that distributes load across multiple teeth simultaneously — delivering higher torque capacity and superior shock resistance for demanding applications.
